The Literacy & Language Club promotes language proficiency, reading habits, communication skills and creative expression among B.Ed. student-teachers. It encourages the effective use of Gujarati, Hindi, English and Sanskrit languages in the teaching-learning process through various academic, literary and co-curricular activities.
Objectives:
- To develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills among B.Ed. student-teachers in Gujarati, Hindi, English and Sanskrit.
- To promote correct spelling, grammar, pronunciation and effective communication skills.
- To organize language-based workshops, celebration of important days and various literary activities for student-teachers.
- To encourage creativity and confidence through poetry recitation, storytelling, essay writing, debate, public speaking and other language-based activities.
